History is a very popular choice at A Level. History is the fascinating story of human behaviour; the actions and reactions that have shaped the world we live in today. During the course you will have the opportunity to explore the origins of some of the most significant events in history and to consider their impact. The course will help you to develop your skills of analysis and interpretation, to make judgements and to communicate clearly and convincingly. These are skills which are becoming increasingly important to both universities and employers.

A Level - three units plus coursework.  

Where Next 

Students go on to study a wide variety of university courses as History teaches the skills of argument, evaluation and judgement. Students may follow careers in areas such as Law, Journalism, Teaching and Management.
