BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma 

This BTEC course enables you to link theory with practice in a variety of ways. The design of the course enables the student to apply their learning to a range of work-related contexts. Staff delivering the course have a wide range of experience in the delivery of Health and Social Care. We can boast a number of work experience placements that allow the student the opportunity of developing professional practice.  

Assessment 

Two exams (60% of the course) and two pieces of coursework (40% of the course) across the two years.  

Where Next 

Students go into a variety of career areas related to health and social care e.g., nursing, social work, education. It is an ideal qualification for students who want a broad background in health and social care which will allow students to progress to Higher Education and employment.
