Fine Art is a specialist subject offering a range of techniques spanning both traditional and contemporary art. As our courses offer a diverse approach to art and design, students have opportunities to engage with methods and techniques which are taught in each of the areas of study we offer. Studies are highly personalised, and we encourage individuals to express their ideas through guided independent study. Students have numerous opportunities to access extra guidance from tutors outside of session time, and a clear support plan is put in place to aid student achievement. The department is an exciting and vibrant environment in which to study.

Where Next 

The cultural industry is booming at the moment - particularly in Hull. The creative industries including media are the single biggest job sector in the world and a major contributor to our economy. Many students progress onto creative degree courses leading to a wide range of jobs within the Creative Sector.
